Film, Music, and Art Archives

Founded by Pshtiwan Kamal Babakir, our Film, Music, and Art Archives collect and preserve contemporary culture, with a special focus on handmade crafts in Iraq and its Kurdish regions. For each artist we add to the archive, we build as complete a library as we can of their work, digitizing, translating, subtitling, and curating. To bring movement to these online libraries, we film short-subject and feature-length documentaries.
